Location
This photo was taking where I was currently living at the time in a small town in Montana.Time
Very early in the morning after I got home form working the over night shift.Lighting
I had nothing but natural morning lighting.Equipment
I only used my camera for equipment. No tripod or flash was needed to get this shot. Just snow balls!Inspiration
It was the first snow fall we had that year after my corgi was born in June a few months before. I was excited to get my puppy into the snow for the first time, but I also wanted to capture her first time playing in the snow. I was not disappointed!Editing
Yes I changed the photo to black and white, as well as sharping and playing with the contrast to help the snow on her face pop.In my camera bag
I always have my Canon EOS 90D with my 18-55mm less attached. I also have a 75-300mm lens packed, extra batteries, a batterie charger, an extra SD card, and a cleaning rag!Feedback
Pet photography can be a challenge. Be patient and prompt them to go where you want, but don't get upset when it doesn't work. Remember pets have there own agendas!
