Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the garden of the house by the sea, near Rome, Italy

Time

In the early hours of a spring afternoon I was walking in the garden and I saw these beautiful flowers

Lighting

I looked for a well.li flower, without plants that could create shadows and without direct sunlight

Equipment

This photo was shot on a Canon 70D with a 100 mm macro lens

Inspiration

I had just started practicing shooting macros and I love flowers and plants so....this is one of my favorite shot

Editing

The photo was taken in the light so I used Lightroom to create the dark background in order to bring out the beautiful color of the flower and its details

In my camera bag

I always carry a Canon 18-200 mm lens, a Canon 100 mm F/2.8 macro lens, a Sigma 10-20 mm, an electronic flash and a small tripod

Feedback

I still have a lot to learn, my advice is to use a macro lens and a tripod!!
