Location
Walked with my wife in Strömparken in Norrköping when I discovered a flowering cherry tree where I took the photo.Time
The photo was taken on Friday the 23rd of April at 13:26. It was sunny and clear and I tried to get the background as blurry as possible. I do not have a tripod, but since I competed in shooting in my youth, I do not have such a hard time avoiding motion blur.Lighting
On this day, it was very bright and perfect for photography at the time.Equipment
The photo was taken with Nikon D 5300 with 55-300 mm lens set to ISO 125, 195 mm, f / 5.6 and 1/1600 seconds.Inspiration
When I lived in Japan for five years, I was impressed by the spring cherry blossoms and photograph the blooms as often as I can.Editing
Imaging performed included reduction of highlights and reduction of shadows. In my camera bag
In winter, in addition to my Nikon D 5300, I only have 18-55 mm and 55-300 mm lenses with me. During spring, summer and autumn, this year I have also started to bring an 85 mm macro lens.Feedback
For those who are interested in photographing cherry blossoms, I would recommend a trip to Japan in spring. The cherry blossoms, of which, however, are very short time so it is important to adjust the time. However, the flowering season does not occur at the same time in all parts of the country, so be prepared to travel within the country. In addition to cherry blossoms, Japan has a fantastic nature and culture that attracts photographers.
