Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken along side a walk way in a flower bed by where I am living.

Time

The image was taken just as the sun was rising in the morning.

Lighting

I really like shooting in the morning and at dusk for the low on the horizon lighting. This was early in the morning as the sun was just starting to show through the trees. I liked how it brightened the flowers, yet toned down the background.

Equipment

Canon 70D Tamron 17-400mm

Inspiration

The beautiful lighting inspired the shot, and the vibrant colors.

Editing

I generally do very little post processing. I use Picasa and I push the highlights and shadows a little.

In my camera bag

I use a Canon 70D camera with a Tamron 17-400mm lens. I carry a canon 18-135mm, but I rarely use it.

Feedback

As always, keep your camera always with you, and keep an eyes moving for anything interesting.
