📠St Agnes 🌊☀ï¸Â🌸
I've never taken photos to include the Thrift (Armeria maritima, AKA "Sea Pinks") adorning our Cornish coast. And now into springtime, I wanted to bag some suitable seasonal images for my next calendar!
So, with little research, I headed for Wheal Coates near St Agnes. There wasn't much of it about. I guess I was a little early. But I did find this small patch of the pink wild flowers with Towanroath Engine House in the background.
The nearest flowers were pretty close to the lens, so a three image focus stack was needed (I think the very close flowers were blown a little by the wind).
Canon 6D MkII | 24-105mm lens at 24mm | ƒ-10 | 1-13 sec | ISO 400 | Tripod | No filters | 3 image focus stack | Taken at St Agnes on 23-04-2021
