Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at a beach in a somewhat neglected area of the city of Kiryat Yam and the northern part of Israel. Unlike the buildings behind me, which look like they are almost falling down, the waterfront and the sea are always calm and beautiful.

Time

It was taken at sunset when the sun is low on the horizon, and the colors become golden. If there is a golden hour for us photographers, the ones in front of the sea are golden and magical.

Lighting

Sunset golden colors vary year-round, so I think the magic is to find the right timing to get it the way you like it.

Equipment

I am using Canon DSLR with an L lens. I have a few of them and use always use them.

Inspiration

Living by the sea is like living on a postcard. You get inspired by this view daily. I had the urge to capture the one that would showcase the overall atmosphere I enjoy

Editing

Sure. To emphasize the colors that will give viewers the chance to feel as I did when taking the photo.

In my camera bag

I am using Canon equipment. Usually, it's 5DM4 as my main body and a set of L lenses.

Feedback

Sure. Sunsets are different, so be patient and wait for the right timing and colors.
