I took this photo when I took my friends to show them a part of this beautiful promenade in forest by this beautiful creek located in our area.Time
For a long time there has been a great desire to show our friends our beautiful nature that surrounds us. After a nice lunch no one wanted to rest too much. So we took advantage of the last sun rays to visit this place. I always take the camera with me. They soon understood why. This time I didn’t regret carrying the equipment with me.Lighting
When I saw how the sun rays set beautifully over the waterfall I knew I wanted to have a longer expousure. So I used ND filter for that. Natural light of the sun did the rest.Equipment
I used my CanonRP and 16-35 L series f4 lens. Everything was on a sturdy tripod that was standing in the water. Than I put on a CPL filter to show more small rocks that are under the water and eliminated the reflection that is on the water. And this all wouldn’t be possible if i didn’t use shutter delay.Inspiration
When I am here I always take a photo. This one was the best of them so far. I was able to make the most of all my equipment I had with me.Editing
If I remember correctly I combined four photos into one. I sharpened each photo at certain point. I used Lightroom for stacking photos into one. For everything else I used program Luminar 4.In my camera bag
Camera, spare SD card and spare batteries. One telephoto lens and one wide angle lens. CPL filter and small microfiber towel. Air blower if dust accumilates on the lens. The tripod is alao always there. Also a rain cover for the bag. This is kind of basis for me.Feedback
Don’t just look at what settings someone had. You just need to take photos all the time. Submit your photos and be prepared for criticism. Only then will you consume a lot of good information to your advantage. Don’t give up right away. It’s better to have a cheap camera and more expensive lens. Learn to work with light. Once you will master black and wihte photography it will be much easier to work with color photography as well.
