Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken near Fort Pulaski on Tybee Island in Georgia.

Time

The photo was taken between noon and 2 pm EST.

Lighting

The lighting used for this was just natural light. I prefer using natural lighting as much as I can because it allows the photo to be seen the same way I saw it when I decided to take the photo.

Equipment

I used my Canon T6 Rebel without a tripod.

Inspiration

My wife and I were walking around the nature trail and I saw this weird-looking tree. I thought it looked pretty amazing and decided to take the photo. When we started to walk away, a small animal ran from the high grass surrounding the trail and straight under the tree. I believe it may have had a burrow under it.

Editing

The only post-processing I did was add my watermark.

In my camera bag

I usually keep my Canon T6 Rebel, a variety of lenses, and my tripod.

Just get out there and capture what YOU find interesting. This world is full of beauty and it's just waiting to been captured on film.
