I wasn't feeling well that day and wanted to capture my mood, I was sad, and even though you can't really see my face I feel that the emotion is very strongly portrayed kinda like despair . I don't like taking pictures of myself, but I decided too that day.Editing

Never take just one picture, take 20, 30. One or two will turn out perfect. Allot of time I see on Instagram people taking funny, happy pictures of themselves, but don't forget the sad days, the down days, the days when u don't want someone to take your picture. You take the picture, see what happens.
