This particular picture was taken in a studio environment set in Knowsley safari park UK hosted by Wild Arena LTDTime

Just an overhead led light so no flash and a plain black background to show the beautiful colours of these magnificent frogsEquipment
Shot with a Canon EOS R with a 100mm 2.8 macro canon lens No tripod just handheldInspiration
You see the red eyed tree frogs in numerous commercial places, television shows, magazines etc and to have the opportunity to photograph them and experience them was a no brainer for meEditing
None really, possibly a touch of croppingIn my camera bag
My bag is always empty when I start my day apart from the camera body, I tend to consider the location I’m attending and what situations may arise and pack lenses to suit, never carry more than you need as it can weigh you down by the end of the dayFeedback
The only real advice I can give is that if you’re living in a city or country where these kinds of animals are not a native species have a good look at the opportunities that are available online to you and just go for it, let’s face it I live in the UK and will never ever see a red eyed tree frog in my back garden so to get an opportunity to photograph them is priceless
