Behind The Lens

Location

South Georgia, Golden Harbour, during Expedition Antarctica Cruises on Hanseatic Nature Expedition ship (Hapag-Lloyd Cruises)

Time

We arrived in the morning and I had to stay 3-4 hours waiting until the 200 guests disembark in 4 different groups and different times with zodiacs to Land in South Georgia. And the beauty of the Nature is incredible there. I couldn't stop watching how the penguins are walking and behaving. This experience is unforgettable.

Lighting

It was quite cloudy/rainy. But still possible to take nice photos of the colony of King penguins.

Equipment

Nikon D 750 with Sigma 70-300 mm

Inspiration

Amazing Landscape and all travelling in South Georgia and Antarctica with Expedition Ship.

Editing

Yes, I edited this photo in Camera RAW, but I did not use too much saturation as I wanted the picture to look as natural as it was.

In my camera bag

Cameras: 2 x Nikon D 750, Lenses: Nikon 24-70 mm, Nikon 85 mm, Sigma 70-300 mm

Feedback

First of all is a very big luck to get to this amazing country! Still thankful to Universe for the possibility to explore this amazing country and the World!
