During my night flight from Phoenix, Arizona to London, my plane was flying over southern tip of Iceland past midnight. There was silence in the plane as everybody was in deep slumber except air-hostesses who were efficiently and silently moving between aisles ever watchful for passengers' comfort. Suddenly the plane started buckling and jumping like a wild horse. Terrified, I looke out of the window and saw thick layers of clouds enveloping our plane. The lights on our wings flashing intermittently created a strange pattern on the clouds as if we were breaking the sound barrier. I just had to capture the scene on my mobile camera held in my shaking hands. Memorable image.
