Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken while I was out looking for the perfect backdrop for a different photo that I wanted to take.

Time

This shot was taken in the mid morning hours which is usually not a typical time of day for me but I wanted to try something a bit different.

Lighting

Usually, I take most of my photos in the early morning hours or late afternoon hours but since I happened upon it during the mid morning I saw something mysterious about the scene that I thought would work for another project I was working on.

Equipment

This shot was taken on a Canon t-7 with nothing more than a 75-300 mm lens.

Inspiration

I took the photo as a test shot and fell in love with it as it’s own piece of work.

Editing

The only post processing that I did was lighten up the scene just a bit after taking it to black and white.

In my camera bag

I always have my 75-300 mm in my bag if not on my camera at all times because it gives me the versatility that I need to go back and forth with my project needs. Since I usually only focus on one type of photography at a time it works for me.

Feedback

Wander! Most of my photos come from my wandering with no particular theme or subject in mind. Walk off the beaten path a bit, you’d be surprised what you’ll find in the most random and uncommon places.
