The Pole Village of Petten (Netherlands) is a work of art and a monument. It consists out of a large number of poles which are placed on the border of the land and the sea. It consists out of 160 poles which are placed in the shape of 10 houses and a church. These to remind the flood that hit Petten a few hundred years ago which swept away almost the entire village.
