Little Miss Sofie came to our house with her mommy at one day old. She and her mommy were covered in cow manure and it was cold....November.....so I couldn't bathe them. I spent several days using coconut spray oil to remove the grime. I had them both for 8 months and the owner took Mommy donkey back and let me keep precious Sofie. Mommy had another baby...Sofie's brother last year but I only got to keep him for two weeks. This year, she had another little boy...looks like Sofie but more white. I have Mommy and baby here....trying to purchase them so they don't have to live on the big cattle farm with no fly protection, no proper feed...just cattle feed. She is an awesome mommy....but doesn't need to have anymore babies. She's had 4 and she's only 6 years old. Sweet sweet little donkeys.
