Let's stop being on the surface. Let’s go deeper or we will suffocate.
This image reminds me of those networking events where everyone is smiling and supposedly making themselves known. But I don't feel like we really are making ourselves known. I feel like we're all wearing a mask. I hate that feeling. I hate to feel that I can't be myself because I don’t feel the other person is being true to themselves either. I feel suffocated and I want to get away as soon as possible and then I start to wonder if we are all feeling the same. Why don't we act in accordance with who we really are and have meaningful conversations?
