Location
This photo was taken at the Gaylord Texan Resort. You can't see the location, but I was amazed at how green her eyes were that day. I am an amateur and have seen photos like this and wanted to try it out.Time
This was kinda an impromptu moment during the day with the natural lights coming through the skylights.Lighting
Lighting is a lot of what makes a picture bad or great, among other things. I was focused on her eye so I wanted the light to hit it just right to show off the green.Equipment
Hand held Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra Samsung SM-N986U F1.8, 1/39s, 7.00mm, ISO 250 White Balance, No FlashInspiration
We were doing an impromptu photo shoot and I was wanting to try some ideas I had seen before.Editing
I wanted the photo to be black and white and color in only the eye. To really highlight the green eye, I put on the auto filter a couple of times to make it really green. There is a feature on my phone when I edit photos called spot color, this allowed me to remove all colors and add in the color for the eye.In my camera bag
I'm a simple person that doesn't have any equipment besides my phone. I pride in the phone I get since that is my tool for taking photos.Feedback
You can take this kind of photo anywhere. It's up close to the subject and focused on the eye. Make sure the eye is well lit and open when taking the photo. It's actually simple to do. Grab a phone or camera, get a subject, get close and personal, snap the pic, and do some editing.
