Location
I prefer shooting in interesting locations over a studio any day. This particular trailer I found on a local marketplace post. I messaged the owner to see if they’d allow me to shoot in it and they were more than happy to say yes. I forget what the brand was but it was a ‘79 trailer.Time
I struggle to wake up early unless it’s for a photoshoot. However, fortunately, this one was during sunset, hence the absolutely beautiful ray of sun that we were blessed with.Lighting
I love ambient lighting or making it look as natural as possible. My photos lean towards a certain mood so as long as I’m able to achieve it naturally, I’m happy.Equipment
My baby is a Nikon D750. I turned on the lights in the trailer and otherwise used natural lighting.Inspiration
I’ve been pursuing a trailer series along with a more vintage aesthetic with my work. There’s just something captivating about a style that is no longer common, yet is much bolder and unique that today’s design standards.Editing
Yes, I never manipulate the photo in any way beyond enhancing the tones and colour to a point that I’m happy with. I don’t photoshop any effects or anything like that. At most I might remove a wall plug or if there’s any kind of debris that may be distracting. I try to present a photo that’s as close to reality as possible. In my camera bag

Experiment, improvise, and adapt. I’ve found the more I plan the more my photos feel staged, so I trying to teach myself to be comfortable in the unknown and relying on my experience to guide me.
