Location
Believe it or not, this photo was actually taken at the follow decor aisle inside of a Walmart.Time
It was at least around the evening time inside. A little bit after 7pm.Lighting
The lights used inside the building was your standard fluorescent lighting, but the unique part about the aisle was how much of the lighting was a bit dimmed in that area.Equipment
For this shot, along with my Nikon D5300, I also used my Nikon speedlight to bounce a little bit of the lighting up.Inspiration
I recall seeing a huge trend of people taking photos of flower and decal aisles in various of stores. I figured I wanted to do it too for myself to see how it turns out. Luckily for me and my friend, it was indeed a success.Editing
The only touch up processing that I've completed was with the use of both Adobe photoshop and light room. Aside from the cleaning of of blemishes, I also made sure to compliment the mood and color filters based on the colors of the background for a subtle warm, and soft feel.In my camera bag
I usually have my D5300, my speedlight, my camera remote, and my two lens, which is a both q nikon 50mm 1.8 prime and a 18-105mm telephotoFeedback
Make sure the aisles are clear before you decide to venture onto this ideal shoot. Bonus points to you if you make sure photoshoots are ok within the establishment to ensure no interruptions happen.
