Location
This photo was taken in Lagos, Nigeria during the pandemic. I am a self taught photographer, so once I shoot I learn from the photos I have taken and I improve on my photography skill.Time
This is one of my favourite photos of all time. This photo was taken at night time at around 9:00pm west African time. I had my youngest brother assist me during the photoshoot by pouring the water down my brother's head.Lighting
I used my speed-light during the shoot I put the flash on ttl, so the light source could be evenly distributed around the subject.Equipment
The equipments I use are as follows; I used a canon 5D mark iii, a 50mm canon lens f1.8 With my Newer ttl speed-light.Inspiration
I got inspired to take this photo to express how I felt which was inner peace cause I'm Christian and I wanted to portray the feeling of salvation as a Christian.Editing
For the photo no I decide use any post - processing I just turned the photo to monochrome using photos on my MacBook.In my camera bag
I normally would have my two cameras my DSLR, my speed light and rechargeable batteries for my speed light. I would also have my four lens which are 1canon - Prime , 2 Nikon - telephoto and prime and 1 sigma - telephoto.Feedback
My advice for other people trying to achieve a similar shot would be they should use an external light so as to evenly spread out the light. Then my other advice is to a telephoto lens and make the photo more defined while editing.
