Christine Falls is my favorite waterfall inside Mount Rainier National Park. Beautifully framed by the historic, gray stone Christine Falls Bridge, the scene caries the look of a National Park poster. Christine Falls is a two-tiered waterfall dropping a total of 69 feet as Van Tramp Creek makes its way to the Nisqually River--32 feet in the upper portion and 37 feet in the lower falls. The falls are named for Christine Van Tramp, daughter of P.B. Van Tramp (one of the first climbers to summit Mount Rainier).
