I took this photo at Maroon Bells in Colorado on a week long vacation.Time
We spent nearly 4 hours waiting for the sun to pop out, and it finally did about 3pm. Set up a wonderful opportunity to capture the scenery.Lighting
The lighting was tough all day as clouds kept creating shadows. We only saw the sun for a short amount of time, but when we did it was glorious!Equipment

I was looking for the perfect object with the mountains as a back drop. I finally found these flowers after hours of walking around.Editing
I added some contrast for the flower to pop. I also added a bit of light as the natural light that day wasn't the greatest. My phone camera also wasn't too great.In my camera bag
I just use my camera phone. I've upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy 10 now, so I'm able to capture more shots with the amazing camera.Feedback
Always take the shot! Even if you aren't sure, take numerous shots of different angles. You can always delete later!
