I re-edited this one for the summer smash movie-summer theme now, of all things Barbie.

Lightning captured going past a palm tree on a rainy night.

Street lamp in the storm.

Street-sidewalk lamp getting pelted by the atmospheric rivers of rain that hit California in January of 2023.

The raindrops splashing off of the top created this prism like color bokeh & I filtered it a bit to get it to pop

Location

Just north of Sacramento, CA

Time

It was late in the afternoon on an overcast day.

Lighting

The sun poking holes in the clouds caught my eye while driving. After I got off the highway & looked at it more I noticed the god beams way off in the distance.

Equipment

This was a while ago and I'm not sure which camera phone I used.

Inspiration

The sunlight through the clouds really struck me & I just had to stop & get some shots and hope that they turned out ok using my phones camera.

Editing

I have a couple different versions so I must have played with it PicsArt or Google Photos.

In my camera bag

I don't carry a camera bag around any more since becoming disabled. But I've upgraded my phone to one with better lenses and software.

Feedback

Lulls in between rain storms seem to bring these out the most.
