Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken on the front steps of the Tulsa Garden Center, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Time
It was late afternoon, probably 3pm.
Lighting
We were working in open shade, trees providing shade to my back, the open sky the light and the white paving fill from below.
Equipment
This was shot handheld with a Nikon D750 and 85mmf1.4AFD I believe.
Inspiration
Morgan asked me to shoot her in a fashion oriented bridal session. We chose a happy go lucky bride vibe with a little flirtatious mood.
Editing
Minimal exposure corrections and very minor skin edits.
In my camera bag
These days, either a Nikon D800 or Fuji X100F and a few different film cameras.
Feedback
Don't be afraid to work outside the box. This shot could have been made in automatic mode, but without the bride playing her part and my willingness to encourage her it would have far less gravitas.
