Location
This photo was taken on one of.my walks through the ansteys hill conservation park, in Adelaide, South Australia.Time
It was heading towards mid afternoon, so the koala was a.bit more dosile at that time of day, and stayed still for it's photo opportunity.Lighting
Lighting was an issue on this one, as it was getting to about 2:30-3pm, the light was lower in the sky, so I had to move around the tree to get its face a bit clearer, and so it was looking at the camera.Equipment
This was shot free-hand, without a tripod, or anything else, just a steady hand.Inspiration
I took the photo because I enjoyed the way the koala was looking at the camera, and it didn't seem fussed by it at all. It was a joy to see it in it's natural habitat.Editing
No post-processing or editing done, I like to keep my photos as close as possible to the original subject matter as I can, to capture the memory best.In my camera bag
I have a whole heap of equient in my bag, usually, as I also do paranormal investigations, I carry a lot of equipment both for lighting and camera effects, such as an infrared spotlight, a full spectrum light, and a night vision capable camera.Feedback
Keep an eye out in the tree-tops when out walking.
