Fantastic shot. The kicks of light off the water are lovely. Congrats on winning the challenge

Location
This was taken at Raymond Terrace, NSW Australia, on the banks of the Hunter River.Time
The shot was taken on a morning riverside walk, after a very foggy night. The sun was just coming through the fog when I saw this beautiful web with its "Spider Jewels" and knew I had to try to capture its beauty.Lighting
It was a lucky shot, with fog, sunlight and the perfect moment in time.Equipment
I am a self taught hobbyist photographer who just sees things and finds they are worth capturing with my camera. I think this was taken with my Canon 6D, but I also have a 600D and a 7D Mk11.Inspiration
The "jewels" of dew/fog held on the spiders web, enhancing the massive work done overnight by the spider, and glittering in the morning light just took my breath away.Editing
I was only using Picasa at the time this was taken..... I miss that editing programme so much, and can't find anything similar and free. I thought that moving to Black & White would bring out the jewel appearance of the droplets much more that staying in colour, and I believe that works well.In my camera bag
At the time I was just carrying my camera, no bag, just strolling by the river in the morning.Feedback
Just keep your eyes peeled for the "little" things that make you smile. You'll then see the beauty worth capturing.
