Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken in late October at Crater Lake National Park, Crater Lake,OregonTime
My wife, Debi, and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary at Crater Lake. This photo was taken from the rim of the crater looking west in the early afternoon.Lighting
There was no wind and the lake was perfectly still. It was a cloudless day so the reflection of the rim and the crater in the lake was worth taking. We were able to get about 50 really great shots as we went around the rim of the crater, this was just one of them.Equipment
This photo was taken with a Nikon 7100 and a Tamron Lens just on the normal automatic setting.Inspiration
A beautiful setting on a perfect day. The lake being depend it being calm really brought out the blue of the lake and the blue of the sky. It really looked like a mirror on the lake.Editing
The photo was so good we did not have to do any touch up.In my camera bag
I always have my camera in my car with a small lens and a large lens because you never know when you will have an opportunity to see a great shot.Feedback
It doesn't matter where you live you can always get a great shot if you just take time to "stop and smell the roses" so to speak.
