Location
My photo was taken during a memorable six-day erg Chigaga desert excursion in Morocco. I was alone with my guide who spoke neither French nor English and two camels (dromatarians ). The beauty, the peace, the silence of the desert, was a captivating experience. The night skies illuminated by the Milky Way are literally fantastic.Time
I took this photo at sunset or golden hour. Or side lighting gives relief and texture to shadows. The curve also allows us to enter the image.Lighting
I wanted to take advantage of golden hour to enjoy the already orange color of the sand and the warm, golden light of the sunset.Equipment
Photo prise avec un Nikon 7100 Objectif Nikor 18-200 mm, f/3,5-5,6. à 52 mm F11, ISO 100, 1/80 sInspiration
Quite simply the beauty of this scene as well as the intensity of the warm color that emerges from itEditing
Normal and basic post-processing with LightroomIn my camera bag
My camera and two or three lenses including my 18/200 zoom from Nikor as well as a 50mm f / 1.4 and a wide angle from Tamron ?. But I had the last two lenses and the camera stolen from me a few years ago. With in addition two or three filters: Polarizing, neutral and gradient.Feedback
Take advantage of the golden hour and have a tripod, but I didn't have it because I had to bring the minimum amount of luggage for the poor dromatarians who carried all our luggage, provisions and camping equipment.
