Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken at Anton Lakes in Andover.

Time

I like to go out early and capture shots when it is quiet and nothing scaring away the animal live.

Lighting

I wanted capture the way the sun was covering the swans and how the water dripped from the beak after feeding off the bottom of the lake.

Equipment

This was shot on my nihon and my extended lens.

Inspiration

I like to capture wildlife and animal shots and the serene nature of these swans just being together.

Editing

This picture is as it was shot, I do everything I can to post any shot as natural as it was taken.

In my camera bag

I normally just carry the camera and the larger lens.

Feedback

Don't over think the shot, shoot what you enjoy and if you have to take a few shots then do so. Most importantly, be patient.
