Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in a car park in Barnsley UK this was completely new for me and one of my first portrait shoots im a self taught photographer and im used to photographing modified cars rather than people so this was a completely new learning curve for me.

Time

This was taken in the late afternoon around sunset just so i could use the sun for that awesome golden hour.

Lighting

Loved the way i was able to use the lighting of the sunset in this shoot.

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon 600d using a 75-300mm Lense

Inspiration

Ironically enough this inspiration came from my sponsor Inspired Automotive , they need some merchandise shooting for their website and as always i was happy to help.

Editing

i rarely like to edit mostly i will make the colour pop and drop the lighting levels if needed and add a watermark but i dont use filters or actually adapt the photo.

Feedback

I always use my shutter speed rather than iso’s due to the quality outcome is alot better , i suppose its hard to give advice when im still learning myself all i can say is shoot what you feel looks right thats what i do.
