Macro Studies - Gerbera Daisy Ultraviolet Induced Visible Fluorescence
---------------
Another exploration of the center of a Gerbera Daisy's capitulum, using ultraviolet induced visible fluorescence. Love the intricate details of the hundreds of individual flowers that form the appearance of a single flower, and how it morphs throughout the life cycle of the flower.

This image is a part of a series of experiments over the earlier this year with a $10 bouquet of Gerbera Daisy's from our local supermarket. The lens I'm using is a Nikkor 105mm f2.8 AF on a Nikon D850, and using Helicon Remote and Focus for the 60 or so image captures and stacking. For lighting, this capture uses a Convoy S2+ UV flashlight. I love the alien looking colours that are generated with this light on the Gerberas.
