Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Amsterdam on our wedding honeymoon. It was the last hour of our last day.

Time

This was right around sunset. We had just finished dinner and was walking over the bridge and I looked to my left and just had to capture the moment.

Lighting

The sun was just hitting the canal with such beauty. It not only drew me in but I was also able to capture it to be able to share with you.

Equipment

This photo was taken with my iPhone 6.

Inspiration

I love taking photographs to remember the best moments of my travels and capture them to share.

Editing

Yes there is post-processing. This is a combination of 3 photographs compiled to be able to capture the details and lighting.

In my camera bag

I used to shoot with a Nikon D5000 but over the past 5 years I have adapted using my iPhone. It’s amazing what you can capture on a phone these days.

Feedback

Don’t be afraid to take pictures and adjust as needed. I love capturing afternoon and sunset moments due to the uniqueness of the lighting and colors you are able to capture.
