While visiting friends in Detroit in April 2017, they took me to the Detroit Institute of Art as a birthday gift. Yes-I am an art nerd! While walking around looking at the beautiful pieces from Mary Cassatt, John Singer Sargent, Vincent Van Gogh, I noticed this metallic sculpture. Now there is more length to this sculpture and standing a few feet back, its a beautiful piece. I am not sure who created it, and wish I had written it down.

However, while I was taking a picture of it, I did not put the flash on (because flash photography was not allowed) and this is the outcome. I didn't do anything to the picture except add some more sharpness to it. The light source was one of the museum spotlights shining down on it. I don't think I could have planned for this photo to work out as well as it did. I surprise myself sometimes.

I took the photo with my iPhone 6.
