Location
This photograph was taken in a lake inside a park just outside the capital of Colombia.Time
It was a March 8, 2020 in the afternoon a few hours before sunsetLighting
The photography is a long exposure, but the finish achieved in it is thanks to the use of the Live Composite mode of my Olympus cameraEquipment
Manfrotto tripod, Olympus Omd-Em1 mark II camera with Zuiko 7-14mm f 2.8 lens using a Lee filter holder and 2 filters one density nourishes 10 steps and a 3 step gradient.Inspiration
It inspires me to be able to appreciate a landscape after a long time in which the camera is capturing its light, how it transforms and mutates with the passage of time by the sensor of the camera. The clouds are crazy, it becomes an impressionist image as if it were hand painted.Editing
The processing is actually simple, a Lightroom theme where you work the exhibition , textures, and contrast and some colors. Nothing very advanced at all.In my camera bag
I almost always have my Olympus E-M1 Mark III with focal lenses between 12 mm and 300 mm, a Godoxcon flash with its trigger, extra batteries, tripod, neurtra density filters, a Red Bull, a headlight, and an Amulet Brand Co Cap in case it’s sunny.Feedback
My advice would be to experiment, find a place that doesn’t necessarily have to be fantastic, because magic is going to add to having the passion to frame and wait a long time for the long exhibition to reveal things about the landscape that your eyes can’t appreciate.
