I took this shot in my old house, it was my sister's old piano which was there, untouched for years.Time
It was in the afternoon, which had the sun shining perfectly through the window and illumated the keyboard.Lighting
The lighting was important here both to add the dusty detail and to add some more variation to the black and black.Equipment

It was purely spontaneous, I went into the room and saw the picture-worthy piano with nice lighting and ran to get my camera. I always try and look for everyday beauty and this scene jumped out at me.Editing
