Location
I took this photo at Quacco Head in St. Martins New Brunswick, Canada, A popular tourist attraction during peak season. I have been in search of a place to catch early sunrises and now when the weather permits and my schedule is free, Here it is. I was lucky enough on this day to view good sun rays and catch them in conjunction with the flared lighthouse light.Time
I missed the early sunrise but the sun was high enough in the sky at 10 am to be casting beautiful sunrays below and even smaller ones above as the clouds filtered the sun.Lighting
I find shooting sunrises challenging as they provide so many options and settings to choose from. and when editing on the computer the results can be interesting.Equipment
I have 2 canon cameras I use which allows quick lens changes and usually tripod and tripod mini for those low shots and good steady hand helds.Shoulder bag with other lenses and accessories is a must.Inspiration
I grew up near the water and was always drawn to the mystic of a lighthouse. Later when I became a mariner I realized how important they were. Shoot what you like and like what you shoot.Editing
Windows 10 is what I use for editing. In my camera bag
I now have 2 canons which makes it great for interchanging lenses but I used to use a Nikon and it was nice to get a different opinion on a picture.Feedback
Developing is free so take lots of pictures and use different settings to explore and learn all about this world of photography. Limits are endless.
