The photo was taken at Potter's Bridge Trails in Noblesville, IN. The White River was extremely low, allowing me to get down into the riverbed.Time
I usually go out after work to help clear my head and get away from things/people. I realize mid-afternoon is usually not the best time for shooting with natural light, but it's really the only time that I can get out. This was taken on 10/24/19 at 2:00 PM.Lighting
This is nothing but 100% natural sunlightEquipment
This was shot with a Canon EOS Rebel t5 at 1/80 sec. f/5.6 18mmInspiration
I was in awe of the colors of the fall foliage along the riverbank. I originally was focusing only on the arched branch over the water with the colors in the background. As I was framing the shot, I noticed the reflection of the branch in the water. Backing up a few feet allowed me to capture the image.Editing

I used to see water reflection pictures and I was always wondering how people saw things that way. I just couldn't see things like that. I was too focused on the main image to see the bigger picture. I think just looking at reflection pictures just turned on a switch--now that's all that I can see.
