The photo was taken in my home garden while trying out a new macro lens.Time
This was one of the many photos that I took on the same day and this one was taken around 12 noon. The coloured midrib was the striking part of the leaf along with the textures.Lighting
We can take amazing macro/close-up photo even with natural light. This photo was taken with natural light and it was pretty much flat on the subject.Equipment
This shot was taken on a Canon 80D with a Laowa 100mm f/2.8 macro lens. No other equipment was involved in capturing this photo.Inspiration
I love to take macro/ close-up photos of whatever I can find especially insects and leaves. The lovely colours and veins of the leaf during different season has its own beauty. The striking coloured midrib pulled my interest into it.Editing
I wished the colours had been even more vibrant, so i tweaked the colours and then increased the contrast as well.In my camera bag
I just got a Laowa 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, so that along with a Canon 80D was the lens that I had.Feedback
The gear that you have is the best. Trying to capture the beauty of tiny subject is possible only by taking a closer look at our surroundings. It's an whole new whole in close-up/macro.
