Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my home studio, in the suburbs of Monrreal, province of Quebec, Canada.

Time

I took the photo in the late afternoon, it was already almost dark outside since it's winter here. I was testing the new light equipment I received for Christmas gifts!

Lighting

I wanted to test the new lighting I received as I was saying, so I let it at 2500k, so it gave the picture a kind of oldy look.

Equipment

The picture was shot with a Canon Rebel T6, a 50mm 1.8 lens and a remote control. F8 0.6 ISO100

Inspiration

I was excited and anxious to use ny new lighting equipment, 2 Neewer lamps that allows to control temperature and brightness.

Editing

I cropped and pushed the levels a tiny bit. The original was an American plan.

In my camera bag

Canon Rebel T6 and Canon 5D MarkII. Canon 50mm 1.8 and Sigma 24-70mm. A tripod and a portative foldable reflector.

Feedback

Take the picture in portrait from the start and make the light a little more bright to shoot with a faster speed.
