Behind The Lens

Location

At a summerhouse with some of the nicest people I have ever known, and am lucky to call family.

Time

I took this photo at sunset, I remember I was stressed because the sun was setting and I am bad at adjusting shutterspeed. I didn't want to run out of light. I was standing, trying to balance on the edge of the balcony, laying down, finally I got it..I find it nice that in the moment I was so stressed, but looking at the image later I feel instantly calm.

Lighting

I was rushing to get this captured before I ran out of light for the evening.

Equipment

My small Sony camera, my very first, and current, camera.

Inspiration

Birds. Birds, birds, birds, I've always been facinated by flight. Oh how I wish I could fly, feel weightless..that was my inspiration.

Editing

I edited the photo in light room and photoshop, which I have accumulated through my field of study, and which I am making the most out of!

In my camera bag

My glasses, because I have very bad eyesight. My biggest struggle taking photos is my eyesight.

Feedback

Don't give up, and don't care of you look stupid, laying on the ground and whistling at birds in the distance..
