Location
On the shores of Seaside, Oregon one will find what the tide brings in daily, sand dollars. These lovely creatures usually die off or are eaten by seagulls within and hour of being ashore on the vulnerable sandy beach. Occasionally, we can catch them before they die in all their true wonder. This one was still trying to survive by attempting to burry itself back in the sand. You can see its trail very clearly and hits fine hair on top. Still purple. Not their usual white sun bleached self one finds on the beach. I hope you enjoyed this wonder of nature as much as I did capturing it on camera.Time
