July 17, 2019,
Rooster pasted that day.
When I was very young ( Elementary Schoolish times) Rooster and his brothers and sisters we born. There mother a Karelainbeardog and their father a Husky.
When they became of age all but one pup was left at home. Prime. Rooster went off to live a life running trails with an outdoor ranger-hunter, but as time past his owner accidentally died on one of his hunting trips.
My mom soon after found him on cregs list. And after seeing His photo, knowing he was one of our KBD Pups!!! We brought him home( By now I was towards the end of Middle School-Beginning of Hight school).
By then I had my driver’s license so I was able to take both Prime and Rooster on hikes all around my area. One time we were hiking-climbing up the Butte during winter warm-up and it was slick. I slipped and started going down as I was on a hill covered in ice. And both Prime and Rooster instantly turned around and came to me to see if I was okey. I stopped sliding before they got to me but seeing them do what they did just makes me feel Wholesome;)
When he was a pup we had a nickname for him, as he was the roundest pup of the pack- RollyPully.

Something about this photo made me stop and take a closer look. So I decided I wanted to know more and pulled up your description. Now I know why I was so drawn to the photo. Rooster is still sharing his lovely smile with those who love!
