I was messing around with some presets and stumbled across this color scheme that reminded me of some scenes in Lord of the Rings. So I pushed the colors and adjustments to make it look like a path to Mirkwood or Rivendale.

Another dark and gloomy photo from our hike through Turkey Run State Park.

I always like hiking through the hemlocks. I like the greens in the photo.

Caught this with my phone. It's two photos stacked for exposure and edited in Lightroom.

I caught this one nearly by accident. My girlfriend was waiting for me and I snapped this as she was shaking the water off her hand.

Waiting on my to finish taking 56+ photos in one spot. Haha!

This is cool. You sneak through a narrow path of rock and come out to this big, open space. It's hard to think you're in the midwest while

Kinda' spooky, kinda' not.

Once the fire died down, the silhouette of the trees against the stars was excellent.

This was another from the "magical spot" at Turkey Run State Park. This tiny section had all the snow and nowhere else.

I didn't have the focus set correctly, but I still like it. The color contrast is great!

One of the first photos from the hike. I like how the trees framed the trail and the spots of snow.

just leaving the "magical" part of our hike and this little valley looked like it was field of rust with powdered snow sprinkled on top.

I liked the contrasting color of the in the middle. Don't forget to look up every once in a while.
