I love shooting moving water and capturing the essence of the force rivers can take. Converted from a color image from my iPhone, I chose B&W to really bring out the textures, shadows, lines and flow of the water, which you couldn't really see in color. This is the Nisquilly River running from Mt. Rainier and Nisquilly Glacier. As the water rushes over the rocks and even through the thunder of the water, you can hear boulders being tumbled underneath. The power of the river flows shaping the path down stream. I love capturing these images and spending time in nature. I am free to explore and my time is slowed down without the fear of the world around me.
