Behind The Lens

Location

First of all, greetings to all, I really liked this photo and I took it close to my work, on the outskirts of a blueberry field, along with other types of plants that are typical of the field, they grow taking advantage of nutrients from the crops that they are around, in this case of blueberries. The location of is in Jacona, Michoacan in Mexico, it is a small city that is mostly dedicated to the cultivation of berries.

Time

It was a moment during the afternoon between 2 and 3 in the afternoon, when the sun shows directly and it is usually a somewhat difficult time to walk in the field because the heat is somewhat embracing, at that time I was walking to my office since I had taken my lunch time out of the office and as I passed where these flowers were, I said to myself the sun illuminates this flower very beautifully, which has already finished its life cycle and I think it would be a good way to immortalize it, take it I took a photo and so I took several and I liked this more than the others.

Lighting

It is always better when you plan everything about how you want to take the photo and you try to control the entire environment but on occasions like this you see how the natural light of that hour and moment makes something so simple in a beautiful photo look and be able to show everyone This, you just tell yourself it's okay, it's time to find the best angle to make the most of natural light, which is something I love, I always try to make the most of the light in my photos, I love the colors that we offers the sun by touching the different subjects.

Equipment

Very well, I usually use a bridge camera, sony dsc h 300, which I love, besides that currently due to economic reasons I have not been able to buy a better equipment, although it is in my plans to do so. In addition to this, I use a couple of cell phones, an iphone 6 and a sony xperia xa1 ultra phone, as you can see they are already somewhat old equipment but I really enjoy taking photos with them.

Inspiration

I love and it inspires me to take photos of nature, whether it is a good landscape or a macro on insects or plants, since I believe that freezing the moment allows us to share with others the colors and textures so beautiful that I find myself and that I do not know. They repeat elsewhere, so I am inspired to share with all of you how beautiful I have around me.

Editing

As I mentioned earlier, I usually have my two cell phones with me and with them I do a slight processing of the photos I take, in this case I gave it a small retouch to highlight colors and textures, this is achieved very easily with a mobile app called snapseed, which is very easy for me and allows me to have my photos ready quickly and they are very beautiful.

In my camera bag

As I mentioned a moment ago, generally I always have at hand my pair of cell phones that I normally use to take photos when I have nothing planned and I find beautiful moments to immortalize and share, since when I have my photos planned I use my phones in addition to my camera, just to take a different perspective and also due to a long time habit of just using them.

Feedback

One piece of advice that I can give to those who like photography and are just starting out, would be to try to share what they love to admire and the type of photo that they would like to dedicate to, if they still do not know it is time to take many photos of different themes so that you can find what you like so much and share it with the world. Basically it would be everything, I really appreciate the opportunity you give me and it is a pleasure to share with all of you.
