The picture was taken in Laval close to the «rivière des milles iles» in a flower field.Time
This is probably my favorite picture that i took. I remember taking a walk at 6PM to take pictures of the sunset. While walking close to the water i saw those purple flowers. So i bend doing to look at them and i decide to take a picture.Lighting
I wanted the picture to have a good light on the flowers only and a little bit darker in the back. No filter has been use for this picture, no editing either.Equipment
This was shot with a Lumix DC-G95 with a G Vario 12-60mm lens. I didn't use a tripod or even my flash. I use the Low Key filter on my camera.Inspiration
I was wanted to take a picture of the sunset but it wasn't time yet and i was looking at the nature to figure out what I could take instead. I saw some flowers of different colors red, blue, yellow.. but I didn't took them because it's some flower colors that we are use to see and then I saw the purple one without any broken flower pedals.Editing
Usually when I take flower photography it takes a lot of time of post-processing, but this time it didn't. The flower was already perfectly place, I just had to bend down in a good position to have a perfect picture. I took three pictures of those purple flowers but this one came out better then the other ones.In my camera bag
In my bag, I usually carry my Lumix DC-G95 with my 12-60mm lens. It's the only lens I use with this camera. Sometimes I bring my Olympus E-M5 Mark III with a M.Zuiko 14-150mm lens. Including some camera battery for both and a battery charger. I got a lensball and colors filters too.Feedback
Always watch the weater if its good for taking pictures and be patient. Taking a good picture never happen on the first try.
