Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taking on our yearly Christmas tree hunt near Prospect Oregon.

Time

This was around 3:00 p.m. we had been looking for the perfect tree and had still not found it. This was my son and I, still looking out the window as my husband drove around.

Lighting

Tas we were looking out the window, I noticed this shot because the lighting through the trees nest to us happened to light up the rear view mirror perfectly.

Equipment

This was shot with a Cannon 18-135mm lens and a Cannon EOS 70D. No other equipment was used. ?

Inspiration

The rear view mirror caught my eye, and I saw this photo staring back at me. I had to capture the moment.

Editing

I used the snapped app on my phone to turn the photo black and white. I also enhanced the clarity, contrast, and saturation of the photo.

In my camera bag

I normally carry my camera: a Cannon 70D, my favorite lense: a Cannon 18-135mm lens. My flash; a Cannon Speed light 600

Feedback

Always keep yours eyes open for shots that you may not be planning on. I have captured some of my favorite shots because I was paying attention at the right time.
