It was a very exciting day. The robin was flying around me and came close to me so many times, I couldn't even focus my camera because it was so close to me. I don't know why it was doing that, but I left the place in order not to disturb it.

I'm pleased you joined my challenge "The November 2020 Collection". Great, thanks, and let's hope it turns all right well for you. The competition is, as ever, very hard! That is this month especially the case, because VB approved the challenge for the gallery and extended the duration. Good luck.

Location
I took this picture on our university's campus. Our campus contains one of the natural habitats of Ankara, Turkey with large pine forests and very dense shrubs.Time
It was early in the morning. Bird photography requires waking up very early because birds are mostly active in those times. I walked in the forest and under dense canopy with so little light coming to the ground.Lighting
-Equipment
I used Canon EOS 7D with a Canon 400mm f/5.6 lens. There was no other equipment.Inspiration
-Editing
I mostly tried to sharpen the photo to reveal the beauty of feathers of the bird. I really like the pattern and texture of the feathers. In my camera bag
I walk a lot in wildlife photography, so I try to take as little as possible with me. I only carry my camera and lens with an extra battery.Feedback
If you want to take photos of singing birds in their natural habitat, you have to be patient and wake up really early. You have to be in the field just before sunrise. You have to listen to birds to locate them. It is much more powerful than try to look around with your eyes.
