Sint Maarten Noord-Holland The Netherlands (Europe) is about 6900 km (4300 miles) away from the Island Sint Maarten (Caribbian).
Correct is that it both belongs to The Kingdom of The Netherlands (It's no part of The Netherlands, it has his own government (an ambassadeur at the top). This said… The Dutch government try to say how St Maarten has to behave and what they can do and not do.
