Location
This was taken at a friends house in Boulder, Colorado. I needed a break from the desert heat and de-stress from the pandemic. So I decided to drive 11hrs.Time
Currently my favorite photo of myself. Yes, you aren't able to make out my face. I like it that way. The focus is the shape of my body, my vessel. I thought about placing the focus on myself but didn't think it would make a striking image.. It started to sprinkle all of a sudden, then the clouds blocked the sun and me being a desert dweller for the past 4 years of course leaped up from excitement. After just a brief moment it started pouring. Water splashed all over the glass door. This was taken around 4:00 PM I believe.Lighting
Barely a minute passes by, It stops. The clouds open up and there's the sun and the most beautiful light. Without any hesitation I grabbed my Mamiya and tripod. Focused on the rain drops at first but, it was missing something..Equipment

The rain and the light.Editing
I made it warmer to match what it looked like in person. Brought the highlights up so that it barley shows the outline of my chest. I also made the shadows darker. In my camera bag
I have my Mamiya with me everywhere I go and its paired with a 90mm. That thing weighs about 6 pounds though and built like a tank. I'll bring my D3200 on my street photography walks; usually with a 35mm 1.8. Then I have my D750 for everything else. 28mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8, 60mm 2.8, 85mm 1.8, and 135mm 2.8.Feedback
All you need is glass door (or piece of glass), a spray bottle or hose, a sibling or friend and some great light! :)
